Once you’re ready to book your senior portrait session, the first step is to schedule a free phone consult with Mel. This is your time to connect, talk through your goals and expectations for the shoot, and ask any questions you may have. You’ll also choose the session style that fits you best and select a date that works for you.
After booking, you’ll receive a full style consultation to help you feel confident and prepared. In the weeks leading up to your session, Mel is available by email or phone to discuss ideas, go over wardrobe options, and ensure everything aligns with your vision—whether you're going for something classic, trendy, or unique to your personality.
From your initial call to the final image reveal, Mel is here to guide and support you every step of the way.
The Senior Experience
When it’s time for your shoot, you’ll choose the location that best fits your vision! I have a list of my favorite spots that I can send your way, but you may also opt to shoot at your home, a local café or park, the beach, or in the studio—whatever suits the vibe you're going for!

Reveal & Ordering Day
After your session, Mel will guide you through the process of selecting your favorite images with an in-person reveal either in the comfort of your home, at my studio or at a local Starbucks over a coffee. You’ll have the opportunity to choose the perfect portraits for prints, albums, and keepsakes.
Explore additional options for prints, digital files, and a custom mobile app to keep your senior portraits with you wherever you go.
