Model Release

This Model Release describes how Mel Colvin Photography may use photographs taken during your session. By booking a session with Mel Colvin Photography, you agree to the terms below.

1. Grant of Rights

By booking a session, you grant Mel Colvin Photography an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute photographs taken during your session for the following purposes: portfolio and website display, social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, blog posts and editorial content, print and digital marketing materials, contest and award submissions, and publication submissions.

2. No Compensation

No compensation shall be paid for the use of images as described in this release. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or the uses to which they may be applied.

3. Minors

If you are booking a session on behalf of a minor under the age of 18, your agreement to these terms constitutes full consent on behalf of the minor. A separate signed model release form will be provided at the time of booking for minors.

4. Privacy Option

If you wish to keep your session images private and exempt from any marketing use, you must notify Mel Colvin Photography in writing prior to your session. A written privacy agreement will be provided and may incur an additional fee.

5. Release of Liability

You release Mel Colvin Photography from any claims, damages, or liability arising from the use of images as described in this release, including claims related to distortion, alteration, or composite use.

6. Governing Law

This release shall be governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island.
