Hey! I'm Mel, a Rhode Island based photographer for the badass business owners, offbeat couples, quirky families, and anyone who wants photos that feel real, relaxed, and completely timeless.

I graduated from Rhode Island College in 2008 with a degree in Studio Art concentrating in Photography and Graphic Design, photographed my first wedding in 2007, and have spent the last 17 years doing what I love most,  telling people's stories through images that only get more meaningful with time. After a brief creative pause I came back with a clearer vision than ever: your photos should feel like you, age beautifully, and hold meaning even decades from now.

For the wildly in love: I am a sucker for a love story. Whether you are newly engaged, planning an elopement, or counting down the days to your wedding. I am here for all of it. I will guide you through natural poses, tell you to bump hips and touch noses, and capture all the in-between moments that make your story completely yours.

Families are my heart. From relaxed lifestyle sessions with little ones to milestone family portraits and everything in between, I approach every family session with the same care and intentionality. Because these images matter more than you realize right now. The one with just you and your kids when they are little. Just you and your parents while you still can. These are the photos you will treasure most, and I never take that lightly.
